Deputy Director

The Idaho Conservation League is seeking a Deputy Director to lead its Development and External Relations departments in Boise, ID. This leadership role involves strategic planning, team management, and operational oversight to support a $3.1 million budget and engage the membership base. The position is full-time with a salary range of $87,500 to $95,000, reporting directly to the Executive Director.
Summary of Position: The Deputy Director of the Idaho Conservation League (ICL) plays a critical leadership role in advancing ICL’s mission to protect the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the lands and wildlife you love. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Deputy Director is responsible for overseeing and supporting two key departments: Development and External Relations. This role blends strategy, planning, team leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on support to raise the funds necessary to support ICL’s $3.1 million annual budget, and to grow and engage our membership base through savvy communications and public engagement.
