Decarbonization Expert

beBee Careers is seeking a Decarbonization Expert in Abu Dhabi to provide agile decarbonization solutions. Job Description:
A unique opportunity for an experienced consultant with a proven track record in supporting clients by providing agile decarbonization solutions. Develop a systematic framework for the management of decarbonization, including defining overarching strategies and detailed roadmaps with key milestones, journey enablers, timeframes, drivers, and identifying on-route threats, risks, and uncertainties.

Responsibilities:
• Performing comprehensive Scope 1, 2 & 3 greenhouse gas emissions inventories and baselines for equipment, units, facilities, and companies.
• Performing life cycle assessments and modelling data processing, interpretation, and analysis.
• Development and updating methodologies and tools for quantifying greenhouse gas emissions.
• Using Circular Carbon Economy principles to develop a multi-factor approach to meet wider sustainable development objectives.
• Supporting colleagues to identify and screen carbon reduction opportunities – feedstock, fuels, power sources, process & applicable technologies.
• Work with other teams to provide integrated solutions – CCS, hydrogen and renewables.
