We are seeking a Data Management Expert - Sustainable Finance to join our team at Avature. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our climate data products, which are used by clients to make informed investment decisions.
">About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to building climate data products that are fit for purpose for clients and aligned with Bloomberg's data model strategy, using your subject matter expertise in climate topics. This includes leveraging your knowledge of data management, statistical analysis, quantitative modelling, or programming and applied data analysis skills to develop and maintain our climate data products.
">Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to building climate data products that are fit for purpose for clients and aligned with Bloomberg's data model strategy, using your subject matter expertise in climate topics.
• Leverage your knowledge of data management, statistical analysis, quantitative modelling, or programming and applied data analysis skills to develop and maintain our climate data products.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Product, Sales, News and Engineering as well as external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies to enhance relevant climate databases and ensure our products to be regulatory compliant.
">Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum 4+ years* of relevant experience in the Sustainable Finance space, preferably climate or sustainable finance-related financial products. You should have subject matter expertise in climate or broadly in sustainable finance topics to conduct research for new content and translate it into consumable data products, while applying technology such as AI to scale and enhance data collection.
