Polaron Solartech Corp. is hiring two D2D Sales Managers in Ontario, Canada, to lead door-to-door solar sales teams. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and managing sales representatives, developing sales strategies, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with ethical sales practices. The role focuses on driving sales growth in the solar energy sector and requires hands-on involvement in team activities.

ABOUT US:
Trifecta, in partnership with Polaron, is seeking two highly motivated and results-driven D2D Sales Managers to lead and manage our door-to-door solar sales teams. We are looking for one manager to oversee operations in Central to Eastern Ontario (GTA/Mississauga/Pickering, Osahawa/Whitby). This role offer an exciting opportunity to build and develop high-performing sales teams in the rapidly growing solar energy industry.

JOB OVERVIEW:
As a D2D Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of door-to-door sales representatives. You will implement sales strategies, monitor team performance, and ensure adherence to ethical sales practices. Your primary goal is to drive sales growth and market penetration while fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment & Training:
• Identify and recruit skilled sales representatives with an interest in solar energy
• Develop job descriptions and post vacancies on recruitment platforms
• Conduct interviews and background checks to ensure candidate suitability.
• Provide comprehensive training on solar PV technology, sales techniques, and industry trends.
• Conduct role-playing sessions and lead by example by knocking on doors with the team.
• Offer continuous training to improve sales performance and knowledge.

Sales Strategy & Planning:
• Develop tailored sales strategies targeting different customer segments (residential, multi-unit, commercial).
• Utilize market research to identify high-potential areas and customer pain points.
• Set short-term and long-term sales goals aligned with company objectives.
• Develop action plans, including timelines and milestones, to achieve these goals.

Team Management:
• Supervise and support sales representatives in the field.
• Monitor daily activities to ensure adherence to sales strategies.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one meetings.
• Address challenges and conflicts within the team promptly.

Sales Tracking & Reporting:
• Use CRM systems to track sales activities, leads, and conversions.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for upper management.

Customer Relationship Management:
• Ensure sales representatives provide accurate and thorough information to customers.
• Address customer concerns and complaints professionally.
• Foster strong relationships with potential and existing customers.

Marketing & Promotions:
• Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials.
• Plan and execute community outreach programs and events to promote solar PV systems.
• Equip the sales team with up-to-date marketing materials and promotional offers.

Territory Management:
• Assign sales territories strategically to maximize market penetration.
• Monitor territory performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure balanced coverage to reach all potential customers.

Compliance & Ethics:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Conduct training sessions on ethical sales practices.
• Promote honesty and transparency in all sales interactions.

Motivation & Incentives:
• Foster a positive and supportive team environment.
• Provide regular feedback and incentives to motivate the team.
• Implement performance-based rewards and team outings.

Market Research:
• Gather data on market trends, customer preferences, and competition.
• Use research findings to refine sales strategies and enhance effectiveness.

Budget Management:
• Allocate resources efficiently to support sales activities.
• Monitor expenses to stay within budget.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising sales effectiveness.

Communication & Coordination:
• Act as the primary liaison between the sales team and upper management.
• Coordinate with other departments (marketing, customer service, installation teams) to ensure smooth

operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in sales, recruitment, and training.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking applications.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in the solar PV industry is an asset.
• Willingness to work in the field and lead by example.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Previous experience managing a D2D sales team.
• Background in solar sales or renewable energy.
• Knowledge of Ontario's solar market and industry regulations.

Pay: $60,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
