Job Description

Shell Energy Australia is hiring a Customer Performance Strategist to support their Energy Solutions unit in Melbourne or Sydney. The role involves onboarding customers, tracking revenue, resolving operational issues, and optimizing customer performance in demand response programs. Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in customer management, strong communication skills, and relevant qualifications. This position is integral to assisting customers in managing energy demands amid the transition to cleaner energy.
Shell Energy is broadening its distributed energy solutions to assist commercial and industrial energy users across Australia. This expansion empowers Shell Energy's customers to effectively manage their energy demands amidst Australia's shift towards cleaner energy and the transition to wholesale electricity pricing on a 5-minute basis.

We are seeking a Flex Customer Performance Strategist to join our dedicated Energy Solutions business unit in our Melbourne or Sydney office. This pivotal role will support operational and customer success functions, ensuring smooth onboarding, precise revenue recognition, and optimal customer performance in demand response and battery programs.

With Honesty, Integrity And Respect, You Will:
• Coordinate with new sales and customers to gather necessary information and documentation and guide them through the setup process.
• Track and record revenue accurately, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies.
• Address operational issues promptly, maintain customer records and databases, and support the team with administrative tasks.
• Develop strategies to help customers maximize performance in demand response programs, monitor participation, and provide feedback.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, conduct regular check-ins, and organize customer meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

What You'll Bring
• Strong experience (5-7 years) in customer management and performance optimization.
• Comprehensive market knowledge of DER programs and existing electricity market bodies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder consultation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and high levels of initiative.
