We are now looking for Customer Operations Manager for our Supply Chain Management Function. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing staff and activities for customer delivery arrangements and scheduling across North American shipping points for domestic and international customers. Other responsibilities include overseeing the Available to Promise (ATP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes related to customer orders. The role requires collaboration with multiple business units to ensure compliance with processes and regulatory standards, participation in project planning and execution, and prompt issue resolution. Candidates must have expertise in global product movement, including North American and international regulations, as well as general compliance and product stewardship knowledge.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Order and Transportation Management: Oversee daily operations for order and transportation execution across North American production sites, external warehouses, vendors, and tolling facilities, ensuring smooth supply chain activities.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints received through the Customer & Vendor Claim Notification System while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
• Process and Delivery Optimization: Manage the Available to Promise (ATP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to ensure accurate and timely order delivery confirmations, as well as on-time, in-full delivery of domestic and export volumes.
• Collaboration and Communication: Act as a liaison between the Senior Customer Operations Manager, Supply Chain organization, and business segments to address operational concerns, align on customer requirements, and proactively manage outbound volumes and customer-focused projects.
• Team Leadership and Development: Monitor workloads, mentor and train team members, and evaluate tools and resources to enhance efficiency, ensuring customer service KPIs are met and employees are equipped to succeed in their roles.
What you’ll bring to the team:
• Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ Customer Operations (Customer Service) Management experience plus if both international and Domestic
• Minimum 5 years’ prior supervisory experience managing a diverse work group.
• Knowledge of the chemical industry is a plus.
