James Cook University is seeking a Curriculum Management and Accreditation Specialist for a full-time role based at the Townsville campus in Australia. • Full-time, continuing
• Based at the Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas
• Remuneration at HEWL 7 $94,374 - $104,359 per annum
• Up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits.

About the Opportunity

Deliver high quality curriculum development and accreditation activities in collaboration with key stakeholders. This role ensures that JCU course offerings align with University policies, as well as the requirements set by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

What you can bring to the role

We're seeking an experienced individual with a comprehensive understanding of undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs, including knowledge of course structures and supporting professional accreditation renewals. JCU offers a broad range of professionally accredited courses including but not limited to, Business - AACSB, Education - AITSL & QCT; Health - ANMAC, AMC, APAC, APC, ADC and Engineering - EA. If you're known for your exceptional organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills, this role is perfect for you. You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own workflow, excel in prioritising tasks, and thrive in a supportive environment. Your ability to exercise judgment and initiative will be highly valued.

Your strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills will ensure you can communicate effectively with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders, fostering productive working relationships. You'll also work autonomously under broad supervision, consistently delivering quality results and contributing to our ongoing business improvement efforts. Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite, Adobe as well as experience using curriculum management systems, student management systems and unwavering attention to detail is essential to this role.
