Curriculum Developer

Lucid Motors is seeking a Curriculum Developer in Newark, CA, to assist in creating quality learning curriculums, including instructor guides and online training materials. Candidates should have a BA/BS in Instructional Design or a related field and 6+ years of experience using the ADDIE process. The role requires knowledge of adult learning theory and proficiency in course design software. This position is full-time and not remote.

The Role
• Assist a team of instructional designers by producing quality learning curriculums to support content such as: instructor guides, job aids, online training, assessments, videos, course descriptions and more
• Design and develop instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements
• Develop learning objectives and test methods to support training materials
• Ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans
• Develop flow diagrams and storyboards
• Work closely with the Learning & Development Manager and Field TrainersQualifications
• BA/BS Instructional Design/ Education related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years' experience in instructional design and curriculum support, using the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) process to course updates and revision
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and application of theory to learning deliverables
• Demonstrated experience with Captivate, Articulate, or similar course design software
• Must have excellent writing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to align identified tasks and skills to learning objectives which are observable and measurable
• Knowledge of instructional design practices and the study of the principles and techniques used in designing training programs, developing design strategy and models, and applying design methods to the improvement of instructional effectiveness
