Responsibilities

The Position:

Design and develop global technical curricula for instructor-led and online formats. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy. Stay updated on instructional design methodologies to incorporate into curricula. Ensure curriculum standards through auditing and instructor guidance. Lead efforts to improve training processes based on feedback. Provide technical training and support to internal teams and airline customers regarding Panasonic systems, products, and processes.

Curriculum Development and Lifecycle Maintenance
• Develop relevant course content, delivery methods, and media with management.
• Create modular curriculum components for reuse.
• Write instructional materials for various formats using authoring tools.
• Develop assessments and manage test banks.
• Research new instructional methodologies for curriculum enhancement.
• Follow quality assurance and manual standards.

Platform Instructor
• Deliver technical training via classroom, video, or online methods.
• Conduct labs, demonstrations, and exercises.
• Administer exams and maintain student records.
• Gather feedback to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Update curriculum and documentation as needed.

Technical Training and Documentation
• Provide technical guidance and training to Panasonic personnel and airline clients.
• Maintain knowledge of Panasonic products and interfaces.
• Stay current on new product releases and system knowledge.
• Act as liaison for next-generation Panasonic IFE systems development.
• Review technical documentation such as wiring diagrams and manuals.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in developing technical curricula in a corporate setting.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance or avionics is highly preferred.
• Technical background in engineering, IT, electronics, or AV systems preferred.
• Experience in training organizations preferred.
• Knowledge of civil aviation regulations and standards preferred.
• Understanding of aviation maintenance training and technical publications preferred.
• Technical knowledge of In-Flight Entertainment systems preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
• Network, software, and system development experience desired.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, TCP/IP, and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and technical diagrams.
• Proficiency with electronic testing equipment.
• Familiarity with FAA, CAA, ATA requirements for avionics.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable with customer interaction.
• Ability to present technical information professionally.
• Effective communication with diverse audiences.
• Understanding of adult learning and training methodologies.
• Proficient in developing and delivering various training types.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
• Knowledge of e-learning technologies.
• Ability to resolve complex issues and demonstrate good judgment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
