About Delaware Guidance Services
Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. (DGS) is the largest provider of outpatient behavioral health services to children and families in Delaware. We operate offices in Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Lewes, and Seaford, and we are the only statewide not-for-profit outpatient behavioral health organization for children and adolescents accredited by JCAHO. In 2020, we were honored as a Compassionate Champion for our dedication to serving youth and families using a trauma-informed approach.
Through DGS, clients and families have access to outpatient counseling, group therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and school-based services. Our community-based service lines serve youth and families who require a more intense therapeutic protocol. DGS’ 24-hour statewide Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) dispatches skilled crisis intervention clinicians to provide immediate care to children experiencing behavioral health crises. Therapeutic options are available for a wide range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, traumatic stress-related disorders, and suicidal ideation. In 2021, DGS clinicians provided over 54,000 direct care hours to children, youth, and families in Delaware. Over 93% of clients report improvement in their level of functioning following treatment, and therapeutic benefits derived from trauma-informed care extend to clients’ siblings, caregivers, classmates, and peers.
Our client population is racially and ethnically diverse; 80% of DGS clients are Medicaid recipients and 90% have household incomes under $30,000. Many of our clients present with significant treatment challenges including learning impacts due to missed school and negative economic impact due to parental missed work. We provide care to anyone in need, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay for care. DGS also provides services specifically tailored to meet the unique behavioral health care needs of child welfare-involved families and foster youth

Position Description
Summary/objective
Under the supervision of the Crisis Program Senior Manager, the Integrated Services Coordinator plays a vital leadership role in the implementation, expansion, and sustainability of Delaware’s youth crisis response system. This position is responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary team and supporting key service functions that promote trauma-informed, equitable, and timely responses to children and youth in crisis. The Integrated Services Coordinator directly supervises four critical roles, ensuring collaboration and cohesion across outreach, engagement, community partnerships, and data analytics. Working in close collaboration with the Crisis Program Senior Manager and Crisis Clinical Coordinators, the Integrated Services Coordinator is responsible for operationalizing programming based on the needs of children and families, supporting service effectiveness, and helping guide the crisis system's ongoing development across the state. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in crisis management or child/youth services, possess strong leadership skills, and have the ability to foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Essential Functions
Strategic Program Implementation & Expansion
• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of crisis-related programs in alignment with state goals, emerging needs, and best practices in youth mental health crisis care.
• Identify and respond to gaps in crisis services and community engagement, adjusting program strategies to meet the evolving needs of Delaware's children and families.
• Contribute to the long-term sustainability and innovation of Delaware’s crisis response system through collaborative planning, cross-sector engagement, and staff leadership.
Supervision of Multidisciplinary Team
• Youth Peer Support Supervisor: Ensure trauma-informed peer support services are delivered effectively. Guide supervisory practice, case reviews, and team coordination to meet youth engagement goals.
• Crisis Program Engagement Specialist: Oversee outreach activities including Caring Contacts, crisis reconnects, and system navigation support for families. Ensure timely follow-up and documentation of post-crisis engagement.
• Crisis Community Liaison: Support community relationship-building with EDs, pediatricians, schools, and mental health agencies. Provide oversight of outreach strategies and monitor the effectiveness of public-facing communications and social media.
• Data Analyst II: Supervise data collection, reporting, and analysis activities. Ensure data-informed decision-making and compliance with program benchmarks, funding requirements, and CQI initiatives.
Program Coordination & Operational Leadership
• Oversee care coordination efforts and follow-up procedures to ensure continuity of care after a crisis.
• Ensure consistent documentation practices, including EHR entries and outreach tracking across all supervised roles.
• Establish clear workflows and communication channels among outreach, peer support, data, and community engagement staff.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Monitor program performance indicators and recommend course corrections to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines, grant obligations, and organizational policies.
• Support development of internal audits, outcome reports, and quality improvement initiatives.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
• Foster strategic relationships with schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and family advocacy groups.
• Represent the crisis program in interagency meetings and public health collaborations.
• Elevate the voices of families and youth in shaping service design and evaluation.
Training, Development, and Support
• Facilitate cross-training and capacity-building across outreach, peer support, and data functions.
• Provide coaching, supervision, and mentorship to direct reports and promote trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
• Assist in onboarding and professional development planning for crisis program staff.

Work Environment
• Office-based, Partial telecommuting with approval
Physical Demands
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• May be requested to lift up to 15 pounds periodically
Travel required: Between sites as needed for supervision, meetings, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Social Work , Psychology, Public Health, or a related human services field.
• Five years of experience in behavioral health, health care, public health, crisis services, or youth-serving programs.
• Two years proven supervisory experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams or managing cross-functional programs.
• Familiarity with Delaware’s behavioral health systems and community resources for children and families.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree which qualifies for licensure in the state of Delaware as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), License Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist.
• Possess Delaware Clinical Licensure (social work, psychology, counseling)
• Bilingual ( Spanish-English ) language skills are a plus.
