Creative Climate Awards Opening Celebration

Join the Creative Climate Awards as a volunteer with HUMAN IMPACTS INSTITUTE INC in New York, NY. This event showcases artists addressing climate change from April 21 to May 20, 2026. Volunteers will assist with welcoming guests, serving food, interactive activities, and event setup. Shifts are available on April 16, 2026. No degree is required, and the role includes both in-person and online components.

Are you passionate about art and climate change? Do you want to be part of an inspiring event that showcases artists making a difference in the fight against climate change? If so, we invite you to volunteer with us at the Creative Climate Awards (CCA)!

CCA is all about showcasing artists who are using their creativity to tackle climate change. Since 2016, we've been running strong, and this year, from April 21st to May 20th, we're hosting a month-long series of events across NYC. Our main gallery space will be at 1st Floor, 38 Washington Street, Brooklyn, but we'll also have an online presence. We've curated artists from various countries, all focusing on the theme of "Solutions From the Frontlines". In addition to our exhibit, we'll be projecting the entire show and over 25 climate demands on the Manhattan Bridge!

We're looking for volunteers to join us on April 21st from 12:00 PM to 9pm (there are posibilities of 3 hour shifts) at 1st Floor 38, Washington Street, to lend a hand throughout the day.

We're looking to have a couple of volunteers for each of these tasks:
• Welcoming and checking in people
• Helping serve food and drinks
• Assisting with Interactive Art Activities
• Set Up & Clean Up
• Acting as Runners / last minute "fixers"
