Better Cotton is seeking a Sustainable Cotton Expert to coordinate their Cotton Sustainability Programme in London. The role involves developing claims frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulations, collaborating with the Standards team, and conducting public consultations. The aim is to promote sustainable cotton practices. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirements.
Sustainable Cotton Expert:

We are looking for an experienced Sustainable Cotton Expert to join our team as a Cotton Sustainability Programme Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective claims frameworks and labelling requirements that drive demand for sustainable cotton practices.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective claims frameworks and labelling requirements
• Collaborate with external legal counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Liaise with members of our Standards team to ensure adherence to ISEAL processes
• Design and implement public consultations to ensure the Claims Framework remains relevant and effective
• Monitor the effectiveness of the Claims Framework and identify areas for improvement
