The Opportunity

CPP are seeking a Contracts Advisor ready to join our growing in-house team, which already boasts over a dozen experienced Lawyers, Contract Advisors and Contract Administrators.

Collaborating with Project Managers, you will work on the largest renewables projects in the industry, providing guidance on key contractual provisions, assist in managing contractual risks and ensure compliance with contractual timeframes and mechanisms. Bringing your exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will lead the preparation and submission of correspondence, notices and claims to CPP’s clients.

You will join a national Commercial & Legal team in a supportive environment where you will have access to a wide network of resources to support your development and growth. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join an industry leader and be part of Australia’s renewable energy future!

Skills and Experiences:
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
• 4+ years relevant experience, working in either Construction, Utilities, Energy, or a similar project based environment
• Experience with upstream and downstream negotiations, with the ability to formulate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with various stakeholders
• High-level contract administration, negotiation and influencing skills
• Although not essential, qualifications in either Law, Construction Management, Business Management, or Project Management will be highly regarded
