SP Clean Energy is seeking experienced contractors and freelance consultants to support new client wins across a range of Clean Energy projects in Australia throughout 2025. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advisory and operational support to Clean Energy projects, ensuring compliance with Work, Health, Safety, and Environmental (WHSE) standards.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to implement and improve safe systems of work.
• Develop and manage project-specific WHSE plans, induction programs, and competency frameworks.
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and ensure project alignment with requirements.
• Participate in stakeholder engagement, site safety walks, and performance reviews.
• Report on project WHSE performance and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project HSE advisory roles within energy, industrial, or related sectors.
• At least 2 years’ experience in renewable energy projects (e.g., wind, solar, battery storage) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation and regulatory frameworks in Australia.
• Proven skills in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and developing preventive measures.
• Proficiency in project and document management systems, as well as the Microsoft Suite.
• Certifications such as Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, 45001/4801, 14001) are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
• Preference will be given to those currently residing or working in Australia.
