Contract Attorney - Middle East

beBee Careers is hiring a Contract Attorney for the Middle East, located in Dubai. The role requires a seasoned attorney with experience in construction and engineering litigation and arbitration. Responsibilities include managing legal strategies and resources. Candidates must have a law degree, bar membership, and at least 4 years of relevant experience. We are seeking a seasoned attorney with experience in construction and engineering services matters to be responsible for ensuring the successful management of litigation and arbitration in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing proactive advice on complex litigation, arbitration, or regulatory matters and developing effective mitigation strategies.

Key responsibilities include ensuring that material litigation and arbitration in the region have well-planned strategy roadmaps, adequate resources, and managed budgets to ensure optimal outcomes.

The successful candidate will also serve as a subject matter expert with respect to legal matters in the Middle East and partner with outside counsel and other legal service providers to achieve desired results.
Job Requirements
• A law degree and membership in a local bar association are required; an engineering or management degree is an asset.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in-house or in private practice, preferably with experience in large complex construction projects.
• Strong work ethic, superior organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under time constraints.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity in executing key responsibilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and confidence with leadership and humility.
