About the position

As a Consultant II in the Energy, Sustainability, & Infrastructure segment at Guidehouse, you will play a crucial role in assisting utility clients with their energy transition efforts. This position involves conducting detailed research and analysis on energy-related activities, preparing reports and presentations, and collaborating with project teams to deliver effective solutions that promote sustainable and resilient communities.

Responsibilities
• Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities (particularly energy efficiency, grid modernization, renewable energy, customer programs, new business models, and sustainability)

• Performing statistical and economic analyses by creating spreadsheet models
,
• Preparing workshop and meeting materials, attending sessions, and summarizing outcomes
,
• Preparing reports, presentations and other documents for client deliverables
,
• Interviewing business managers, technology experts, and public policy officials
,
• Presenting results of assigned tasks and analyses to clients
,
• Working effectively with colleagues and client staff as part of a project team; work independently as needed.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, environmental science, or related discipline and 1-3 years of relevant industry or consulting experience; OR an Advanced degree with 0-1 years of relevant experience
