Sphera Solutions is hiring a Consultant (LCA & EPD) for their Sustainability Consulting team, focusing on the Building Materials industry. About the position

Sphera is seeking a talented and motivated environmental sustainability professional to join our Sustainability Consulting team as a Consultant, focusing on the Building Materials industry. This role involves conducting and supporting Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects to help clients reduce their environmental impacts and create sustainable operations. The Consultant will utilize Sphera's industry-leading software to empower clients in making environmentally positive product design decisions and reporting transparently on their sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities
• Conduct and support EPD and LCA projects using Sphera's LCA FE software.

• Collaborate on multiple consulting projects addressing EPD, LCA, and product sustainability strategy.
,
• Develop tools to measure product carbon footprint.
,
• Interface with Fortune 500 companies to develop innovative sustainability tools and strategies.
,
• Write ISO 21930/14040/44 compliant reports documenting project work.
,
• Advise clients on sustainability services to help them operate more sustainably.
,
• Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' product and enterprise environmental impacts.
,
• Collaborate with team members across different specialties and regions to innovate and deliver results.

Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in EPD and LCA.
,
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability, sciences, or related field; Master's or PhD is a plus.
,
• Previous experience in the Building Materials industry.
,
• Strong project management skills to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
,
• Strong data skills and experience with Excel or other data formats.
,
• Strong quantitative or technical background with analytical thinking aptitude.
,
• Experience with LCA software; previous experience with LCA FE is a plus.
,
• Good oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate issues and prepare formal reports.
,
• Self-motivated and organized; able to work on multiple assignments independently and in teams.
