Job Description
About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to conduct comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions inventories and life cycle assessments for equipment, units, facilities, and organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, environmental science, or sustainable development.
Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct full Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions inventories, including supporting clients in mapping energy and fuel consumption.
• Perform life cycle assessments (LCAs) and develop related models to analyze environmental impacts.
• Handle data processing, analysis, and interpretation to support emissions assessments and reporting.
• Develop and refine methodologies and tools for accurately quantifying greenhouse gas emissions.
• Apply Circular Carbon Economy principles to create multi-dimensional strategies aligned with broader sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and evaluate carbon reduction opportunities, including those related to feedstocks, energy sources, fuels, and technologies.
• Coordinate with other ET Hub divisions to deliver integrated decarbonization solutions.
• Draft and deliver technical reports, presentations, and related deliverables for clients and internal teams.
• Assist in developing technical and commercial proposals for new projects and opportunities.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break complex challenges into manageable components.
• Awareness of industry trends, market dynamics, and technological innovation in climate and sustainability topics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
• Well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Eagerness to learn, share knowledge, and contribute to team success.
• Collaborative mindset and flexible working style.
Desirable Qualifications
• Previous work experience in the energy or extractive industries.
• Experience with life cycle assessment tools and practices.
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Membership or associate membership in a recognized professional body.
• Proficiency in handling large datasets, including data compilation, interpretation, and reporting.
• Ability to craft compelling reports and presentations that clearly communicate technical findings.
