Inberg-Miller Engineers seeks a Construction Materials Technician in Green River, WY. The role involves field and lab testing of construction materials, requiring collaboration with engineers on various projects. Summary

IME is looking for a self-motivated individual to work under the supervision of senior engineers on a wide array of projects. Responsibilities include field and laboratory testing of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt. Projects to be tested include earthwork, concrete placement, asphalt paving, and masonry construction. Typically, projects are located in Wyoming; however, some travel throughout the Rocky Mountain Region is likely.

Travel is dictated by our clients and projects.
Responsibilities

Typical duties will depend on the applicant’s technical and professional experience and may include:
• Ability to foster and maintain positive and effective professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a project team.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely, logical manner and exercise discretion and good judgment in accomplishing assigned tasks and goals.
• Must have strong communication, interpersonal, and intellectual skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks to completion.
• Become proficient with computer programs associated with Microsoft Office Suite operating systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
• Ability to become proficient in the use of laboratory and field-testing equipment and procedures.

Salary Grade: $25.97 - $32.59 (Tech III)

Travel up to 75%
Requirements
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• 3-5 years experience in construction materials testing.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing I certification required.
• Current MSHA Certification required.
• Proficiency in applicable software tools, including MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
