Concrete Technician

Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. is seeking a Concrete Technician in Ontario, Canada. Responsibilities include field inspection and testing of concrete, temperature monitoring, equipment maintenance, and reporting non-conformances. Candidates should have at least 3 years of concrete testing experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift over 25kg. While post-secondary education in Civil/Construction Engineering is an asset, it is not required. The position is full-time and involves working in various weather conditions and potentially on shifts.
Position Requirements:
• Field inspection and testing of concrete.
• Field testing to include sampling and coring of concrete.
• Thermocouple temperature monitoring, installation and data collection.
• Assist in proper care, control and maintenance of the testing equipment.
• Follow all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
• Complete field inspection reports and pour summaries as per company policies and/or contract requirements and advise supervisors plus site staff of any non-conformances and deviations.
• Perform other duties as instructed.

Let’s talk about qualifications and requirements.
• Post-secondary education in a 2- or 3-year college program such as Civil / Construction Engineering or equivalent program is an asset but not required.
• CCIL or ACI concrete certification is prefer
• Must have a minimum of 3 years concrete testing experience on commercial, industrial or road building projects within Canada.
• Able to use and maintain hand and power tools.
• Must have a valid G (or equivalent) driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Able to perform heavy lifting >25kg.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment in a variety of weather conditions.
• Must be able to travel between projects.
• Must be able to perform shiftwork, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work long shifts and extended hours.
