Computer Technician Lead

Utah State University is seeking an experienced, organized, and highly motivated Computer Technician Lead to join our dynamic IT team. As a critical member of the IT team, the Computer Technician Lead will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our computer technicians, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of repair and installation projects, and providing superior customer service to the faculty, staff, and students of USU. This role requires a deep understanding of modern computer systems and networks, and the successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: a minimum of 3 years of experience in a computer technician or related role, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. In addition, the ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, networking protocols, and hardware/software troubleshooting and repair. Finally, the successful candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
