Compliance and Sustainability Product Strategist

Card Factory is seeking a Compliance and Sustainability Product Strategist to lead sustainable sourcing strategies and manage the Technical product team. The role involves developing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, and monitoring sustainability targets. Candidates should have extensive experience in sourcing or supply chain management, preferably in retail, along with strong communication and leadership skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Sustainable Sourcing and Technical Leadership Role

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for leading our sustainable sourcing strategy, managing the Technical product team and developing strong working relationships with suppliers. You will play a key part in driving our Delivering a Sustainable Future plan targets.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing, supply chain management or technical product development, preferably in the retail or consumer goods sector. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable. Strong communication skills, project management skills, leadership capabilities and analytical problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead product workstreams, developing cardfactory's approach to technical and sustainability specifications, policies, implementation plans and monitoring progress.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements across the supply chain.
• Set, monitor and report progress on product sourcing, supplier performance and sustainability targets.
• Build visibility and a baseline around product supply chain GHG emissions, nature impacts and raw materials use.
• Consistently monitor policy, legal or regulatory developments impacting the business.
