Job Description

The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is seeking a Compliance Officer for its Regulatory Practice and Services division in Parramatta, NSW. The role involves developing and monitoring regulatory strategies, particularly for motor vehicle compliance, and providing advice to meet statutory obligations. The position is full-time and offers a salary of A$90K–A$100K annually. The team focuses on environmental regulation to support sustainable practices and community health.
The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Compliance Officer to join the EPA in our Regulatory Practice and Services division. In this role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the EPA’s regulatory strategies and systems in particular the motor vehicle compliance program aimed at minimising the impact of motor vehicle noise and air emissions on the community. The role also provides advice and recommendations to ensure the organisation meets its statutory obligations and undertakes training and capacity-building activities.

You will be an outcome focused passionate advocate for the EPA.

Regulatory Practice and Services is a dedicated team of environmental regulators that coordinates and supports the EPA’s regulatory delivery. If you are successful in the role, you will be working in a supportive, diverse, results driven team, who work across all teams within the NSW EPA.
