Job Description

MISO Energy is seeking a Compliance Analyst in Little Rock, AR, with a salary range of $80,000-96,000 plus annual bonuses. The role involves ensuring compliance within business units, maintaining risk registers, and administering compliance data. Candidates should have experience in the energy sector and familiarity with compliance standards. A bachelor's degree is required, with preferred qualifications including a master's degree and relevant certifications.
Description

Starting Salary Range: $80,000-96,000 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.

In one year as our Compliance Analyst , you will know you were successful if you:
• Collaborated with business units to ensure compliant outcomes and foster security and reliability.
• Performed compliance functions, including interpreting industry publications, maintaining risk registers, and internal controls.
• Integrated MISO’s compliance program with its governance, risk, and compliance tools.
• Administered and maintained compliance-related data in Archer and SharePoint tools.
• Monitored stakeholder Q&A platforms and maintain compliance calendars.
• Supported the implementation of internal controls programs, including risk assessments and monitoring.
• Assisted in compliance training on regulatory requirements.

We are looking for people who have….
• Experience in the energy industry, internal controls, audit, or tariff compliance is required.
• Familiarity with FERC/NAESB standards, Tariff, SharePoint, and/or Archer GRC tools is preferred.
• Risk assessments and internal controls implementation/testing.
• Knowledge of energy markets or other heavily regulated industries.

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
