Community Preparedness & Public Health Resilience Project

AmeriCorps is seeking a member for the Community Preparedness & Public Health Resilience Project in Honolulu, HI. The role involves supporting the Climate Change and Health Working Group by developing communication systems, partnership tracking tools, and research resources. The Climate Change and Health Working Group (CCHWG) collaborates across disciplines and communities to strengthen Hawaii's public health resiliency in response to our changing climate. Using a data-driven approach, CCHWG's work is guided by research to communicate the human health impacts of climate change and advocate for policy solutions that prioritize our most at-risk community members.

Member Duties

The member will support the internal capacity of the Climate Change and Health Working Group by designing internal communication systems, messaging frameworks or outreach templates for team members and partners; developing internal partnership tracking tools and engagement protocols to increase staff capacity; creating internal fund development research tools, grant prospect databases and proposal templates.
