About the position

The Communications and Community Engagement Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the Everett Community Growers Civic Engagement and Advocacy Manager in creating socially impactful content that promotes health and raises awareness about climate change and resiliency in communities across Everett. The member will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of developing visually engaging graphics that effectively communicate important messages related to urban agriculture, food security, climate resilience, and youth workforce development. The member will be responsible for translating socially impactful messages into a wide range of creative materials. The member will receive guidance and actively collaborate with them to create impactful designs that elevate community voices and effectively communicate information about climate change impacts and resiliency measures to diverse audiences. The member will gain experience/skills in developing inclusive messaging that motivates stakeholders to act towards just climate adaptations.
