TemperPack is seeking a Communications Intern to assist the Chief of Staff in enhancing internal communication processes and aligning teams. Responsibilities include developing communication templates, identifying gaps in communication, and coordinating internal meetings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and pursuing a degree in Communications or a related field. This position is based in Richmond, VA and is not remote.

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Communications Intern to support the Chief of Staff and executive office in improving internal communication processes, ensuring alignment across teams, and closing gaps in understanding the organization's strategy. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to shaping a structured and effective internal communications framework
Qualifications
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in establishing communication cadences, ensuring regular and structured updates across the organization.
• Develop and refine communication templates (e.g., newsletters, briefings, internal memos, presentations) to enhance clarity and consistency.
• Support the structuring of internal communication processes, including message flow, approvals, and distribution channels.
• Work closely with teams to identify communication gaps and recommend solutions to improve alignment and strategic understanding.
• Assist in drafting and editing key internal messages to ensure they are clear, concise, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Help create and maintain an internal communication playbook with best practices and guidelines.
• Support the coordination of internal meetings, town halls, and leadership updates
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
• Ability to organize information, structure processes, and create templates that streamline communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
