Job Overview:

Give Me Trees Trust is seeking a dynamic and self-driven Communication & Media Officer who can take full ownership of our visual storytelling and communication needs. This role requires someone who is not only creative and tech-savvy but also deeply organized, fluent in English, and confident in managing end-to-end media coverage of events, sessions, and podcasts.

The ideal candidate should be a one-person media powerhouse — capable of handling everything from photography and video editing to reels creation, event documentation, and real-time coordination. Also efficient in coordinating and handling of organisation’s events, podcasts and sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Photography & Videography: Capture high-quality photos and videos during tree plantation drives, meditation sessions, workshops, podcasts, and other organizational events.
• Video Editing & Reels Creation: Edit content into engaging short-form videos, reels, and highlight clips for social media, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Content Planning: Work closely with the communications team to plan visual content aligned with campaign goals and the organization’s message.
• Social Media Coordination: Help schedule, post, and monitor content performance across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Event & Podcast Coverage: Ensure all organizational events are properly managed—pre-event planning, live coverage, and post-event content release. Publish podcast sessions with clear audio/video quality.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of communication projects.
• Language & Presentation: Communicate fluently and confidently in English, both in writing and in person, during interviews, interactions, and recordings.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in photography, videography, video editing and event management (portfolio required).
• Strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or other editing tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Creative thinking, attention to detail, and storytelling ability.
• Flexible to travel for events, podcast and shoots.
• Ability to handle camera equipment and manage shoot logistics.
• Passion for nature, environment, and the vision of the Give Me Trees Trust is a big plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media, Journalism, or related field.
• Experience working with NGOs.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics and scheduling tools.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
