Commissioning and Testing Engineer

Phoenix Industrial is seeking a Commissioning and Testing Engineer in Provo, UT, responsible for the startup of electrical systems in industrial projects. Candidates should have extensive experience in instrument calibration and DCS loop testing, with at least 10 years in site commissioning. Strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and commitment to safety are essential. This is a full-time position requiring collaboration with construction teams and adherence to safety protocols.
As a Commissioning and Testing Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful startup of electrical systems on various industrial projects at Phoenix Industrial. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in instrument calibration, DCS loop testing, and field engineering changes.

You will work closely with our construction foreman, engineers, and technicians to develop and implement startup procedures, test electrical and instrumentation equipment, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as needed. This position requires strong technical knowledge and experience in electrical systems, including power generation facilities, chemical processing plants, and petrochemical complexes.

The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and a safe working environment is maintained at all times. Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction are essential for this role.
