Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for renewable energy and innovative solar solutions? Our client, a leading company in the solar industry, is looking for a Commercial Solar PV Design Engineer to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable energy!

About the Role

As a Commercial Solar PV Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for commercial and industrial applications. You’ll work closely with project management and installation teams to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop commercial-scale solar PV systems, including electrical and structural components.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine system viability.
• Utilise advanced software (SolarEdge, PVsyst, AutoCAD, etc.) to model and optimize system performance.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution and client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:
• 2+ years of experience in commercial solar PV system design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other solar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes, interconnection standards, and permitting processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
