Commercial Finance Analyst

Sustainable Energy First is hiring a Commercial Finance Analyst in Lytham St Annes, UK. The role involves supporting sales reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a focus on data analysis and financial processes. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, experience in finance, and effective communication abilities. We’re seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support reporting and analysis of sales, commissions and revenue, whilst also contributing to budgeting and forecasting. Reporting to the Commercial Accountant, you’ll also provide modelling and analytical support to the Commercial team and help improve financial processes and systems.

You should have strong data analysis skills, experience in a Finance team, and be a confident communicator. Accuracy, attention to detail, and time management are essential, and CRM experience is a plus.

Qualifications
• AAT qualification would be desirable but not essential
• Strong organisational and time management skills, achieves deadlines
• Committed team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
• Able to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Can communicate concisely and effectively in verbal and written form
• Understands the implications of business decisions and aware of strategic objectives
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
• Innovative thinker with an eye for tech-based process improvements
