Job Title: Commercial Banker
We are seeking a talented Commercial Banker to join our Emerging Middle Market Banking team.
About the Role
You will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships, introducing our comprehensive solutions to clients in the Emerging Middle Market and Specialized Industries target space.
Key Responsibilities
• Champion a culture of innovation and customer centric mindset
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
• Finding ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing innovative opportunities offered by new technologies
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
• Five plus years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
• Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
• Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
• Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
• FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
• Bachelor's degree and formal credit training preferred
• Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
• Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
• Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
