We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Risk Manager to lead projects at the intersection of quantitative risk management and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) within the finance sector. This role involves both analytical and qualitative tasks, contributing to critical policy development, transition planning, and cutting-edge research.

About the Job:
• Conduct quantitative risk analyses, with a focus on climate-related credit risk modelling.
• Develop and implement ESG-related strategies and frameworks for financial institutions.
• Write policies, reports, and guidelines on climate risk and sustainability.
• Lead transition planning initiatives to align with regulatory and market expectations.
• Conduct in-depth research on emerging climate risk and ESG trends in the financial sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure holistic project delivery.
• Engage with clients to provide tailored solutions and thought leadership in climate risk management.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven ability to deliver qualitative work, including policy development and strategic planning.
• Fluency in German and English (C1 level).
• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
