• *Overview:**

The Research and Climate Bureau Chief position is responsible for overseeing the Research Work Program, which includes transportation research projects, and providing strategic direction for climate adaptation, resiliency, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer federal and state-funded research programs.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and address research needs.
• Directly supervise staff overseeing research projects and climate and resilience programs.
• Develop and manage budgets associated with research programs.

Requirements:
• Masters Degree in Transportation, Operations Research, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience working as a Researcher, Project Manager, or Planner for a governmental entity.
• Three or more years of experience managing federal grants and familiarity with Title 2 CFR 200 requirements.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience.
