The Opportunity We are seeking a highly driven Financial Risk Specialist with a background in financial services, particularly in risk management, who is eager to pivot into a dynamic, client-facing sales role.
This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in risk management and financial services to drive sales and business growth within the fast-evolving climate risk space.
You'll be the trusted expert on climate risk for our clients, including major banks and financial institutions, helping them integrate climate risk data into their operations and decision-making processes. Working closely with our London-based team of climate scientists, risk analysts, and data scientists, you'll be on the front lines, delivering innovative solutions to some of the world's largest financial institutions.
The Impact You'll Own:
Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and client engagement to deal closure and the trusted voice of expertise for our clients, guiding them through how our Spectra platform can address their climate risk challenges.
Develop and implement a sales strategy tailored to the US financial services and real estate sectors, driving revenue growth.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in banks, understanding their needs and providing tailored climate risk solutions.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (climate scientists, risk analysts, and data scientists) to deliver high-value, data-driven solutions.
Deliver compelling product demos and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the unique features and value of Spectra.
Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and long-term client satisfaction.
What You Bring:
Background in financial services or risk management, with a deep understanding of how banks and financial institutions assess and manage risks.
Strong consultative selling approach, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex data, including financial models and climate risk analytics.
Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work closely with our CEO and founding team in New York full time and meet clients face-to-face regularly.
