We are seeking a researcher to join our team in exploring effective forms of state capacity and the conditions for its emergence in response to climate challenges.
About the Role

This postdoctoral research position is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to our research on national climate governance and institutions, with a focus on developing country regions.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct qualitative research methods, including case studies and interviews, to analyze national climate laws and institutions.
• Analyze mechanisms and institutions to support green industrial policy.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a related field, such as political science, geography, sociology, development studies, urban planning, or public policy.
Requirements
• Expertise in qualitative research methods, including case studies and interviews.
• Field experience in developing country regions, particularly in South Asia, South-East Asia, and Africa.
• Excellent academic writing and communication skills in English.

The position reports to Professor Navroz K. Dubash and offers a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding.
