About the Role

As a Research Scientist at ADNET Systems, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and operation of the Clouds and Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) project. You will work closely with our team to evaluate the performance of CERES instruments, develop new methods for instrument calibration, and conduct studies in support of the development of new Earth radiation budget measurement instruments.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate the performance of CERES instruments flying on multiple spacecraft.
• Develop novel methods to evaluate on-orbit instrument performance and implement algorithms to correct for anomalous behavior.
• Conduct research studies in support of the development of new Earth radiation budget measurement instruments.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.

Qualifications
• Masters or Ph.D. in Atmospheric, Earth, or Physical Sciences, or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace).
• At least 2 years of experience in scientific analysis through undergraduate or graduate studies, internships, or as a professional.
• Strong proficiency in scientific programming languages such as Python, IDL, MATLAB, or other relevant languages.
