Your Opportunity: Sustainability Climate Corps Fellow
As a Climate Corps Fellow within our Sustainability department, responsibilities will help us achieve our ambition to positively impact the environment and enable a healthier planet. Being a successful business and a responsible one are not mutually exclusive. For us to truly thrive, we must take an active role in helping those associated with us thrive as well. And for more than 120 years we have done just that.
Your role will be to work with sustainability and purchasing teams to assess & recommend supplier engagement & data systems/tools to inform the Company's upstream supply chain climate plans.
Efforts to include:
• Research & document relevant industry best practices
• Review available standards, platforms & tools for data collection, analysis & reporting (internal & external)
• Evaluate emission reduction potential of targeted suppliers & value chains
• Establish a library of LCA references for applicable materials & supply chains
You will gain meaningful and translatable experience from the real work you will be provided as well as, relationship management, and professional development.

Acceptance into the EDF Climate Corps Fellow program
Meet identified skill set and experiences as outlined in the Smucker Co. Host Application.
A well-rounded skill set including strong time-management, communication, teamwork skills, as well as a proficiency in MS Office Suite
