About the Job

We are looking for a Senior Agriculture Economist to join our team and lead our efforts to promote climate mitigation and adaptation, as well as environmental sustainability, in our agriculture and food investments, analytical work, and policy dialogue.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to address climate change and environmental sustainability challenges in agriculture and food systems.
• Conduct rigorous economic analysis and modeling to inform policy decisions and investment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement projects and programs that promote sustainable agriculture and food systems.
• Engage with stakeholders, including governments, private sector companies, and civil society organizations, to build support for climate-resilient agriculture and food systems.

Requirements
• Advanced degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics, Environmental Economics, Applied Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in climate change, environmental sustainability, and agricultural development.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful projects and programs in sustainable agriculture and food systems.
