• About the Role*

We are looking for a highly motivated Climate Change Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and experience collecting, compiling, analyzing, and managing large, complex data sets to evaluate vulnerabilities and existing greenhouse gas emissions, develop innovative strategies, and track climate resilience and mitigation progress toward achieving established client goals.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Assist with the design and preparation of climate adaptation and resilience plans, climate action plans, adaptive management plans, sustainability plans, and other related initiatives for agencies that manage water, wastewater, stormwater management, and recycled wastewater systems.
• Analyze water supply, climate change, energy, infrastructure, environmental, water demand, and other types of data to support the evaluation of climate risks, adaptation options, and adaptive management systems for water agencies.
• *Requirements:**
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Climate Change, Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of related experience working with water agencies in the Western United States.
• 2 years of related experience working on climate change related projects.
