Climate Change Mitigation Expert

The Climate Change Mitigation Expert at beBee Careers in Cudahy, CA, will develop a GHG accounting framework for clean energy projects, engage with NGOs and corporates, and support emissions reduction strategies. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree and over 10 years of experience in clean energy or sustainability. Excellent communication skills are required for this full-time position.
This role involves working with teams to advance a clean energy and net zero strategy by addressing key standards and external partnerships.
Main Objectives:
• Develop and implement a Scope 2 GHG accounting framework that accurately reflects the true emissions impact of clean energy projects.
• Influence campaign with NGOs, corporates, and trade engagements to enable and activate their engagement with GHGP.
• Support emissions reduction strategies and workstreams.
• Lead the response to the GHGP public comment period.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or technically related field.
• 10+ years of experience in fields related to clean energy, environmental standards, carbon markets and/or sustainability.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
