Climate Change Legal Advisor

H2Site is seeking a Climate Change Legal Advisor in Spain to provide legal advice and support strategic decisions. Responsibilities include reviewing legal documents, advising management, liaising with external lawyers, and managing compliance and intellectual property. Candidates should have a degree in Commercial Law, at least 5 years of experience, and strong English skills. The role offers a flexible work arrangement, including remote work options.

Mission: As a Climate Change Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and supporting strategic decision-making processes with a strong legal perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analysis of legal documentation: commercial contracts, employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
• Strategic legal advice to senior management on critical business decisions.
• Liaison with external lawyers and experts in litigation and compliance matters.
• Development and implementation of the company's Compliance program.
• Protection of intellectual property rights in collaboration with the IP Manager.
• Negotiation and management of relationships with external parties, including government agencies and commercial partners.

What you'll need to succeed:
• Degree in Commercial Law (double degree in Law and Business Administration preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Excellent command of English language (C1 level).

Desirable Qualifications:
• Postgraduate degree in Corporate Law or Business Law.
• Proven track record of working in deep-tech startups or industries.
