Climate Change Expert

beBee Careers is seeking a Climate Change Expert in Sacramento, CA. The role involves developing climate and health studies, collaborating with epidemiologists, and providing consultation on climate-related health outcomes. Candidates should have a Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field and experience in government or non-profit sectors is preferred. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement climate and health studies of a highly developed scientific scope and complexity.
• Work closely with other epidemiologists to develop surveillance for climate-related health outcomes.
• Provide consultation and technical assistance to other programs and at the Department level on an as-needed basis.
• Collaborate with researchers, policymakers, and community stakeholders to advance public health goals related to climate change.

The successful candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as environmental health, epidemiology, or a related field. Experience working in a government agency or non-profit organization is highly desirable.
