Job Description
PwC India is seeking a Climate Change Advisory Specialist in Gurugram, Haryana. As a Climate Change Advisory Specialist at PwC India, you will play a critical role in helping businesses adapt to the challenges of climate change. You will work closely with clients to identify opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating climate-related risks, and developing strategies for a low-carbon future.
About the Role
This role involves working closely with clients to develop and implement effective climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. You will be responsible for assisting in the collection and analysis of climate-related data, collaborating with team members to identify areas for improvement, and preparing reports and presentations related to climate change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the collection and analysis of climate-related data to inform business decisions
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate-related risks
• Prepare reports and presentations related to climate change initiatives
• Engage with clients to understand their climate change goals and provide support in achieving them
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Prior experience or coursework in sustainability, ESG, or related areas
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of climate change policies and regulations, as well as experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, DJSI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, and SDGs. A demonstrated commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship is also essential.
