Job Description
Acre is seeking a Climate Change & Environment Manager in England to lead sustainability strategies and carbon management for a global provider of sustainable solutions. Responsibilities include developing climate transition plans, driving sustainability initiatives, ensuring environmental compliance, and engaging stakeholders on ESG matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carbon management and excellent communication skills. Acre is supporting a leading global provider of sustainable mobility, connectivity, and technology solutions, seeking a Climate Change & Environment Manager to drive environmental sustainability strategy and carbon management. This thriving organisation supports businesses in navigating the energy transition, offering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce emissions, and promote sustainable operations.
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability & ESG, you will:
• Lead Carbon & Climate Strategy - Monitor and report Scope 1-3 emissions, develop a climate and net-zero transition plan, and implement carbon reduction initiatives along the way.
• Drive Sustainability Initiatives - Work across procurement, operations, and supply chain to embed environmental best practices, enhance resource efficiency, and support circular economy strategies.
• Ensure Environmental Compliance - Oversee adherence to key regulatory frameworks such as SECR, ESOS, UKCFD, and maintain ISO 14001 certification.
• Lead internal and external engagement about ESG and Sustainability- You will be a 'go to' person for all things sustainability, whether it be a customer enquiry or an employee workshop, you enjoy getting stuck in and working with different people, teams, audiences.

• An excellent track record in carbon and environmental management. You have proven experience in developing and implementing environmental strategies within a commercial, multi-site, or international business.
• Expertise in climate-related data, carbon accounting, and regulatory frameworks (GHG Protocol, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and project leadership skills.
• An excellent communicator- you know how to engage the right people, deliver the Sustainability message, and get buy-in wherever possible.
