The Queensland Government is hiring a Cleaner for Arcadia Valley State School in Queensland, Australia. About the School
We are a small primary school situated in the Central Highlands Shire approximately 90km north of Injune and 180km north of Roma. Arcadia Valley State School is a much-valued part of the community and has been the place for generations of learning.
Our school is searching for someone who will be able to profficiently and effectively clean the site as well as ensuring all duties outline for the position are completed at a high standard, in accordance with the approved School Cleaning Guide.
About the Role
Key roles and responsibilities:
General cleaning duties include:
Cleaning toilets
Wiping and dusting surfaces
Mopping and vacuuming
Disposing of rubbish
Cleaning and mainting equipment
Maintaining clear and clean pathways throughout the school
Must be physically able to meet the demands of the job. This job may require lifting and bending
Correct use of departmental cleaning equipment and chemicals
Additional Information
Applicant must hold a current Working with Children clearance (Blue Card)
A Criminal History Check will be initiated for the successful applicatant
