Job Description
California Community Power is seeking a full-time remote Clean Energy Project Valuation Analyst. The role involves conducting business valuations and financial modeling for clean energy projects, requiring experience in energy project valuation and analytical skills. Candidates must be based in the Western US (Pacific or Mountain time zones) and possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Company Description
California Community Power (CC Power) is a Joint Powers Agency comprised of nine California Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs). CC Power members represent over 2.7 million customers across 112 municipalities, allowing them to procure cost-effective clean energy and reliability resources to advance local and state climate goals.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Clean Energy Project Valuation Analyst. The Analyst will be responsible for conducting business valuations, financial modeling, and analyzing clean energy projects. The role will involve assessing the economic viability and financial potential of clean energy initiatives. The role REQUIRES experience with energy project valuation components, such as wholesale energy price forecasts, capacity or Resource Adequacy, PPA costs, and more.
The role also REQUIRES the candidate be based in the Western US (Pacific or Mountain time zones).
Qualifications
• 2+ year experience in relevant utility, developer, and renewable energy contracting roles
• Analytical Skills and Financial Modeling proficiency and enjoyment
• Experience with Power Purchase Agreements and energy project valuation concepts
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Knowledge of clean energy industry and sustainability concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
