Thomas & Hutton is a leading civil engineering firm providing consulting services throughout the southeast. We are seeking a motivated and driven Civil Engineer Environmental Designer to join our Water/Wastewater Department in Buford, Georgia (Chamblee).
Key Responsibilities:
• Create civil engineering drawings in Civil 3D, prepare specifications, cost estimates, and WaterCAD modeling.
• Develop water and sewer utility, drainage, and erosion control designs.
• Conduct design and permitting for water and sewer related projects.
• Maintain strong client and contractor relationships.
Job Requirements:
• 2 years of strong AutoCAD-based design skills.
• Experience in municipal water and sewer systems design preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT Certification or ability to become EIT certified within 6 months required.
