Job Description
CFC Recycling is hiring a Chief Financial Officer in Tullahoma, TN, to lead financial strategy and oversee budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting. The role requires a Master's degree and 12-15 years of finance experience, including 10 years in leadership. Responsibilities include managing financial controls, audits, and risks, mentoring teams, and collaborating on business opportunities. Salary ranges from $120k to $180k.
CFC Recycling Inc is seeking a highly experienced and results oriented Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance function and drive financial strategy. This role will report directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with senior management, as well as key external stakeholders, including private equity investors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, overseeing annual budgeting, cash flow management, forecasting, and ensuring alignment with both business objectives and ownership expectations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership.
• Establish, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and procedures. Manage external audits and offer strategic financial guidance on contracts to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive strategies such as accounts receivable insurance, and hedging risks related to foreign exchange, interest rates, and commodity prices.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, cultivating a high-performance culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, lenders, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operations teams to conduct physical inventory assessments, ensuring accurate reconciliation of book versus physical inventory.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including tracking depreciation and insurance information.
• Oversee the financial software systems, including RIMAS and QuickBooks.
• Support ownership and management in evaluating business opportunities and potential acquisitions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
• 12-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 10 years in leadership positions. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a private equity-backed environment.
• A minimum of 10 years of operational experience is required.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a solid understanding of business valuation and integration processes.
Salary range $120k-$180k
