Job Description
Federation University Australia is seeking a Casual TAFE Teacher for Corrections in Ballarat, VIC. The role requires a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, vocational experience, and teaching skills. Responsibilities include developing and delivering TAFE programs in correctional facilities. • Rates of pay will vary according to the qualifications held and nature of the work undertaken
About the role
Responsible for the development, teaching and assessment of TAFE programs at Corrections facilities in the Barwon Southwest or Grampians region.
You will:
• conduct assessments within Corrections related programs;
• develop innovative learning activities and assessment strategies;
• use a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies; and
• prepare, deliver and administer vocational training and education programs.
About you
To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:
• a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education;
• possession of a vocational qualification relevant to the trade;
• hospitality experience with the ability to plan, prepare, deliver and assess training programs;
• exemplary communication and interpersonal skills; and
• ability to effectively utilise online learning platforms and technologies.
